ASPIRE X30 ROVER KIT, as the name states, this kit is for people who are always on the go. The package includes a lanyard making this mod part of your style. It’s nice to always have a good mod to carry around.
The Aspire X30 Rover kit is a combination of the 2ml Nautilus X Tank and NX30 vape mod.
This mod is powered by a 2000mah built in battery, and if you want to move around make sure to bring the charger with you. I tested the battery life of this device. First, I have my battery at 100% and after 30 minutes of continuous vaping at 20W, it quickly went down to 70%.
Although the maximum output is just 30W it is still good for a quick vaping session, while waiting for a bus or just waiting for your coffee. Who needs big clouds in these public places anyway?
Looking at the mod, the compact NX30 is so small that it can sit perfectly in my hands. Measuring only 2.25 x 3.6 x 6 cm, it houses a non-removable 2000mah battery that can be recharged through the mini USB port located on the side of the body.
This box has an aluminum housing with 0.86inch OLED screen that displays the wattage and battery percentage.
It has 3 control buttons, one is the firing button which also serves as the on and off switch for the mod (usual 5 clicks on/off), and the other two are for adjusting the wattage (“+”, “-“).
The menu is really simple; you can rotate the screen and lock/unlock the buttons.
I tested the Aspire X30 Rover using the Nautilus X 2ml Tank (which will be discussed below). Set it around 20W, it gave out decent power to the atty. But for me, it was not enough. However, vaping at 25W gave me the flavor that I was looking for.
Since it is just 30W, you will not get giant clouds with this box; instead you will enjoy the cool vapor and the good taste of the juice, which in this test I was using the VaporFi Strawberry Shortcake.
Sure, it is not as powerful as the other mini mods out there, but it is good for a short low profile vaping.
Also included in this kit is the Nautilus X 2ml Tank. This tank boasts an innovative technology called the U-tech, wherein the air will flow on the other side of the chamber passes through the coils giving out maximum flavor possible.
The tank is made of stainless steel with Pyrex glass. On the top cap, you will see the exclusive drip tip and below that is the top airflow control. Inside the tank, there is a preinstalled 1.8ohm U-Tech Kanthal coils.
Looking at the coils, I noticed the unique shape on top of the coils, there were holes going through the actual coils inside and another hole going up to the drip tip.
Taking this tank apart is a bit of a challenge, the O rings below were too tight, I think this has something to do with the leak proof design.
However, filling up this tank was very easy, just unscrew the top cap and pour the juice in, then you’re good to go.
I tested this Nautilis X tank together with the NX30 at 25W, with the airflow fully opened. The flavor was superb. That U-tech feature worked great, giving out a nice, cool and flavorful vapor.
I do have some concerns with the top airflow though, it is somewhat tricky to adjust. The air holes were not that noticeable at the top and the controls were too tight.
After almost 10mins of vaping, there was no sign of leakage. Around 15mins through the test, my cheeks and lips were a bit tired since the drip tip was too small for me, and there as no way to change it. But overall, I enjoyed the flavor.
- Very light and compact.
- Superb flavour, thanks to the U-tech coils.
- Built in battery. 2000mah is not enough to get me through the day,
- Non replaceable tip.
Aspire X30 Rover Kit, is a nice, decent mini mod that can live up to its name. This is definitely for people who are always out and on the go. Having that said, this will not produce big clouds. Instead, it will give you excellent flavour. The U-tech really works, whoever thought of this idea deserves a raise. The flavour is really there, compared to other tanks with regular coils.Even if you are vaping this in a low wattage you can still taste the sweetness of the juice. Aside from the battery issue, I do not have any problem carrying this around.
