Brit Beast Tank Highlights:
Size: 24.5mm x 43mm
Koopor Beast Kit is the combination of SMOK Koopor Mini 2 Mod and the Brit Beast Tank.
The SMOK Koopor Mini 2 Mod in this package is the upgraded version of the Koopor Mini, which can now power up to 80W. It offers a power output ranging from 1 – 80W. And added some features to its arsenal.
The Brit Beast Tank, on the other hand, offers a 3.5ml e-juice capacity.
The Kooper Beast Kit uses a single 18650 replaceable battery, but it is sold separately.
Looking at the Koopor Mini Mod 2’s exterior, the design is very simple but it still looks great. Its body is made from zinc alloy, giving it a smooth and tough looking finish.
At the top, there is the 510 spring loaded connector. At the front, it gives you the firing button and the 0.91in OLED display.
The OLED display shows the battery indicator, ohm reader, voltage, puff counter and the Wattage. It also displays the different menus and settings.
Below the OLED display are two control buttons that you can use to adjust and navigate through the settings/menu.
On one side of the mod, the magnetic battery cover can be accessed and the opposite side shows the simple and small Koopor logo.
You have two options to charge the battery, through the mini USB port at the front of the mod or remove the battery and charge it externally. But I do recommend using an external charger rather than charging it directly to the mod. It is much faster and safer.
It also features temperature control, adjustable wattage, and different strength options (minimum, maximum, soft, hard and normal) that suit different vaping style. I prefer to use only the normal mode as I am not a great fan of these multiple modes.
This little guy can handle resistance ranging from 0.6 – 2.0ohms for the temperature control mode, and 0.1 – 3.0ohms for the normal mode.
I tested the Koopor Mini 2 mod using the included Brit Beast Tank with the preinstalled V8 Baby – Q2 core 0.6ohms dual coil that is included in the package, with the mod set at normal mode, 45W. This baby gave out rich cloud and good taste. Nice smooth puffs, cool vapor and the atty was not heating up which is really great.
Below, I will discuss other test results using the other coil that was also included in the package.
Brit Beast Tank has a capacity of 3.5ml juice. It is made from stainless steel and glass. The package comes with a preinstalled V8 Baby – Q2 core. It has a dual coil build reading at 0.6ohms.
Also, included in the package is the V8 Baby – X4 Core. It has a quad coil build reading at 0.15ohms and can handle 30-70W. It has a 510 V-shaped drip tips, this design made it as a non-replaceable tip.
There’s really nothing too impressive to talk about when it comes to the design and features of the Brit Beast, but when it comes to performance, it’s simply amazing.
I tested this beast using both coils that were included in the package – you can check the result of the preinstalled dual coil above.
Using the Quad coil build, I think it lived up to its name as the Beast. I had the mod set at normal mode with 60W, and gave out a superb flavor and a great cloud production.
I think this tank can be enjoyed by both cloud chasers and flavour chasers. Vaping it for 10minutes, I experienced no leaking and this beast was as dry as a bone. 20 minutes in to my test, the tank was becoming really hot but it was understandable with the quad coil build.
- Superb performance. Cloud production and flavour are both great.
- Replaceable battery, you don’t have to worry about running out of battery, you just need to bring an extra batt with you and vape on.
- Overall design is very simple and having the alloy body gave it the sturdy feeling.
- The slide down battery cover. It looks like it will come off accidentally since there are no locks on it.
- Using the quad coil build, there are some spit backs maybe because it has a shorter barrel compared to the other tanks.
This is a great kit. This is truly a beast but it can be tamed with the different modes and adjustments. I can use this mod any day, if not every day, of the week. The menu on the mod is really easy to navigate. Although I am not a fan of changing to different modes, it’s nice to have options. Cloud production is superb, flavour is awesome, nothing much to say about it but this will be one of my go to mods.
